Is there a standard fee schedule for a chartered accountant?
There is no regulated schedule: chartered accountants' fees are freely agreed and confirmed in the engagement letter, before any work starts. For the fixed-price services on this page the schedule is as follows: 450 € excl. VAT for a written consultation, 800 € excl. VAT for a video consultation and 1,200 € excl. VAT for an in-depth study. Recurring engagements (bookkeeping, review, payroll) are priced according to the volume of documents, the number of employees and the returns to be filed: they are quoted separately.
How much does a chartered accountant cost for a one-off question?
One targeted question, answered in writing and reasoned, corresponds to the written consultation at 450 € excl. VAT, with one follow-up exchange by email included. If the question raises several others or calls for research, the video consultation (800 € excl. VAT) or the in-depth study (1,200 € excl. VAT) are better suited. You pay the price displayed: if your question goes beyond the option chosen, we tell you before starting work, and nothing is charged beyond it without your express agreement.
Which package should I choose?
The written consultation suits a focused question whose answer fits in a deliverable. The video meeting works best when a conversation helps frame the topic or when questions are numerous. The in-depth study is the right format when the topic requires research and a structured written opinion. If in doubt, ask through the form: we will point you to the right one.
How does the video consultation work?
After payment, you send us your questions and documents, then you receive the link to pick your slot. The meeting is prepared beforehand; you then receive a written summary of the answers given.
How does the online payment work?
Payment is made by card through Stripe: you are redirected to a secure payment page, then brought back to our site with the list of what to send. No banking data passes through our website.
What if my question goes beyond the chosen package?
We tell you before starting the work and propose either the suitable package or a complementary quote. Nothing is charged beyond the price paid without your express consent.

What happens right after payment?
Stripe sends you an immediate confirmation and the confirmation page sets out what to send us. You email your question and documents to Samuel@hayot-expertise.fr; we confirm receipt within 24 to 48 business hours, together with the firm's engagement letter and any clarification we need.
What if you cannot handle my question?
We tell you before starting any work: if the question falls outside the firm's scope, in particular where it is governed by foreign law, or if the documents do not allow an answer, we explain why. Where no work has been started, the payment is refunded in full.
Payment and terms
- Services provided by HAYOT EXPERTISE, an accounting firm registered with the Ordre des experts-comptables of Paris Île-de-France. Prices shown excluding and including French VAT (20%).
- The answers cover the French side of your situation: French tax, accounting and company law. Where a point falls under foreign law, it is flagged and excluded from the scope.
- Secure card payment through Stripe; no banking data passes through our website. The firm sends its invoice after collection.
- Every engagement is covered by an engagement letter sent after payment, as required by the professional rules of the Ordre.
- If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day withdrawal right (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). The engagement only starts once your question and documents are received; if you want us to start before the end of that period, your express consent will be requested.
